thank you, there is a lot i love...life itself is sacred even those around me.
I think that is what the secret of life is, knowing that all life is sacred and all of creation is worthy of being loved. I have lived in both cities and out in the boondocks. Give me the boondocks any day, I love being within the fold of nature. I was very fortunate When I lived in Texas to have been living in one of the only 2 remaining areas in the US that still has wild ocelots. Now, here I go off topic with a long story about the night my wife died.
My wife was Cherokee and very much in contact with the wild life near us. Birds often landed on her shoulders as we walked through the woods. Periodically we would catch sight of an ocelot that often seemed to follow us. one day My wife suddenly got sick, she was hospitalized, I went back home for the night and told her I would be up to the hospital with some things she wanted. That night before I went to bed I heard a noise on the porch. Opening the door, the ocelot was sitting on the porch and would not move. It showed no fear of me, just sat there staring at the door. Later I went to bed, almost as soon as I laid down an owl landed on the bedroom window sill and started hooting. I suddenly realized the owl called my wife's name and I knew. When I got up at daylight my yard was covered with my wife's favorite bird, cardinals. The ground, trees and shrubs were covered. It was like everything was painted red. About then the phone rang and I knew it was the hospital calling and I knew what I was going to hear before I picked up the phone.
If you ever desire to paint an ocelot, please dedicate it to my wife her name was Sylvia
